Four years ago a pledge class was born - Pledge Class '07. We were the new sisters of Omicron Theta Chi Sorority. What started out as 11 individuals turned into one solid unit. We were unstoppable. Well, not really. As Murphy's Law would have it, we had a lot of glitches in our system but we had the one thing that truly mattered, each other.
Admittedly, in the beginning I was too proud to say I needed anyone of these girls to get me through pledging but it turns out I needed them more than I thought. These girls had my back through it all and picked up my slack when I couldn't go on. They literally carried my weight when I couldn't. They were there for me and in return, I for them. We became sisters.
As time would have it, our lives started to move in different directions. Some graduated and moved away, others stayed and just like anyone else, life got in the way. But be that as it may, I know for a fact that if I needed any of these girls once again they'd be there for me just like before. Because once a sister, always a sister.
